1. Who we are
Park Avenue Motors ("we", "us", "our") is a motor vehicle dealership owned and operated by Michael Johnson at 753 Park Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43223, USA. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website, by telephone, by email and in the showroom.

2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, telephone number, email address, postal address, ZIP code, driver's licence details when you test drive, trade-in vehicle details, and the content of your messages.
- Financing information: where you request pre-qualification — income, employment, residence history and consent to a credit inquiry. Social security numbers are collected only on a secure lender application, never through this website.
- Transaction information: vehicle purchased, VIN, price, payment method and delivery address. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment provider.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and time on page, collected through cookies and server logs.
3. How we use your information
- To answer enquiries, arrange test drives and prepare quotations.
- To complete a vehicle sale, including title, registration and tax filings required by the State of Ohio.
- To arrange financing and insurance products you have asked for.
- To arrange delivery and to keep you informed while a vehicle is in transit.
- To provide warranty and after-sales service, and to contact you about safety recalls.
- To send marketing messages where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe from any message.
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it and stock the vehicles people are looking for.
- To detect fraud, comply with anti-money-laundering obligations and meet our legal and tax duties.
4. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to a visitor, we rely on: performance of a contract (completing your purchase), legal obligation (title, tax, recall and record-keeping duties), legitimate interests (running and securing our business, responding to enquiries, basic analytics) and consent (non-essential cookies and marketing). You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in the preceding twelve months. We share information only with:
- Lenders and credit unions, where you have asked us to seek financing.
- Vehicle history providers and title agencies for the specific vehicle.
- Auto transport carriers, limited to the name, address and phone number needed for delivery.
- Warranty administrators for policies you purchase.
- Payment processors and our bank.
- Website hosting and email providers acting on our instructions.
- Government agencies, including the Ohio BMV and county clerk, where required by law.
- Professional advisers, and any purchaser of the business in the event of a sale.

7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. California residents additionally have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know the categories of information collected and the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither).

We verify your identity before acting and respond within 30 days (45 days for California requests, extendable once where permitted). Making a request is free.
8. Security
This website is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Access to customer records is limited to employees who need it, protected by individual accounts and multi-factor authentication. Paper deal jackets are stored in a locked room. We test our arrangements annually and will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach is likely to affect you.
9. Children
Our services are directed to adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes and how to complain
We review this policy annually and will post any changes on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes are also announced on our home page for 30 days.

You may also complain to the Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section, the California Privacy Protection Agency, or your national data protection authority if you are in the EEA or UK.
